“Government can only be accountable if taxpayers can see what they are buying and how much they are paying for it.”

State Treasurer Cary Kennedy commenting on the Colorado Department of Treasury website that tracks how Colorado tax dollars are spent, as quoted on TheDenverChannel.com 03/07/2010.

Ethics Watch complaint against Frazier

By Joshua Wolpe, Denver Daily News,
July 1, 2009
Colorado Ethics Watch yesterday filed a complaint with the Aurora City Clerk against Aurora City Council member Ryan Frazier for failure to file accurate financial disclosures between 2007 and 2009. Ethics Watch said that Frazier’s financial disclosure forms claim he has been employed by Raytheon since 2004, with no changes since – but they say his public statements and online biographies indicate he has changed employment to Avaya Corporation and again to Takara Systems. The Aurora Municipal Code requires “full disclosure” from City Council members of the “source of any income or losses.” Frazier currently has a U.S. Senate exploratory campaign Web site.
