DENVER -- Colorado’s Independent Ethics Commission has cleared Congressman Mike Coffman of wrongdoing in two conflict-of-interest complaints filed while he was Secretary of State.
The commission ruled Tuesday that Coffman did not overlook the actions of an employee in the state elections office who wrongly operated a political side business.
“As soon as I found out what he was doing, he was disciplined and transferred,” Coffman told 7NEWS.
