CREW Files FOIA Requests with FDA Regarding Communications with Financial Services Companies
On June 7, 2012, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) sent two Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). CREW requests documents reflecting communications between FDA officials and representatives of hedge funds, financial firms, or traders from January 1, 2010 to the present.
Additionally, CREW seeks copies of FOIA logs or other records of FOIA requests made to the FDA from March 1, 2011 to the present.
