State ethics commission investigating Secretary of State Gessler
Colorado Independent (John Tomasic) - Hours before Election Day, the Colorado Independent Ethics Commission has announced it is launching an investigation into a complaint that Secretary of State Scott Gessler misappropriated roughly $2000 in state funds for personal travel and expenses.
The action comes in response to a complaint filed last month by government watchdog group Colorado Ethics Watch. (Find pdfs of the complaints and supporting materials here.)
