Public money used for mouth-watering perks
PARKER - In the wake of rising water rates, 9Wants To Know has found utility managers spending money on vehicle upgrades, numerous lunch meetings, and trips for conferences in places like Las Vegas and Florida.
"It sounds to me like they're making bad choices and wanting us to pay for it," rate-payer Matthew Gordon said of 9Wants To Know's findings.
