Judge rejects Colorado Secretary of State Scott Gessler’s changes
A Denver District Court judge has invalidated several — and upheld one — of the changes Colorado Secretary of State Scott Gessler made to campaign-finance regulations in March. Two other rules were left for later determination. Judge J. Eric Elliff announced his decision Friday, almost a week after he heard two hours of testimony from a pair of watchdog groups and attorneys for Gessler.
