Gessler: Critics of voter ID laws ignore fraud
WASHINGTON — Opponents of voter ID laws ignore election fraud and fabricate false claims of voter disenfranchisement, Colorado Secretary of State Scott Gessler said Thursday.
Speaking at a voter ID forum at the conservative Heritage Foundation, Gessler said there’s a “see no evil, hear no evil” culture among critics of measures that require voters to show a photo ID before casting a ballot.
